Welcome to Marian Region, a land of lush forests, pristine lakes, white-sand beaches, and awe-inspiring mountains – but such beauty comes at a price. Hidden beneath this outer layer of beauty is danger beyond wildest dreams; poison marshes, burned-out forests, and the ever-unfolding ruins of an ancient civilization being only a few examples. In recent days, such discoveries have become more common, as scientists investigate the truths behind well known children's rhymes – a prospect never before examined.
Along with the recent resurfacing of the incredibly rare Light Type; a force professors Xiel and Alyssa Zantakesu spend a lot of time as of late investigating, Marian Region seems to be entering a new era of strife that seems planned by some unknown force, tearing apart the well-known splendor of the resort-like Region.
Why did the Light Type disappear? Why did no-one remember? Who were these ancient people who inhabited Marian Region hundreds of years ago? Who, or what is orchestrating the downfall of the region? All answers will become known in time…

Sweet sweet failure again. There's no spotlight this month since none of ya'll (I love you Summer, Kira, and Gana--the only three who voted I might add!) have the ability to spend a minute of your time to reply to a PM about who should be Member of the Month, Character of the Month, Pokemon of the Month, and Thread of the Month.
So, congrats you killed that.

Whoah, is someone really updating the news besides Mai? And not even an admin, either. But I am, so listen up peoples! I'll be taking over the Mystery Pic for a little while, to give Mai a chance to win some prizes, and just to alleviate some of her work. So go on over and check it out, I've got a new round up!
Also, seriously people. What's up? You all... poofed! I'm sure you all check your e-mail enough to have seen that no one is active except the staff. Come on, we're on here to make your experience better, and you're not even here to enjoy it. Marian was such an active place just a while ago. Let's pick up the pace, huh?

Ok. This is ridiculous. The only people active on Marian are the staff members. They are also the only ones who participate in our games (TUS, MP, Count Game, Etc) or Giveaways (Helllloooooooo you Morons wtf aren't you jumping at the St. Patrick's Giveaway??) And as a result an Activity Check will start tomorrow and go on until 4-4. If you do not post in the Activity Check your account will be deleted!
Though this may be a moot point there are things you should have already noticed/checked out around the site: Elekid won TUS 8, Item Hunt Prizes Posted (and all the items were removed), Late Welcome Back thread, FREE POKEMON YOU MORONS.

Well...anyone with half a brain would know that this is going to be a long update. So, with that said, be prepared to scroll a lot, nyeh? =^-^=
For starters, you may have noticed that we are one 'social' member short than we used to, or that we are short quite a few announcements, or that it's finally Spring! And of course everyone noticed that Nyla and Winterbane's computers both got fixed and they are with us permanently. And that two more gals joined our staff: Summer and Adri!
Not to mention you should check out the loverly winners of the February Spotlight!
We've also gotten quite a few new members, a new TUS VIII: Nursery Battles--which you have until tommorrow to vote in for Round I!! Of course, that's not the only new game! We have a new Mystery Pic, hosted by Adder, so PM your answers to her before March 21st! And for those Marianite's who can count (not me~) you should play Count to 2,500! and see what you can win!
We've also got a few new skins (Cradily Winds, Solemn Champion, Banette 's Dare, and Sweet Shaymin) that you should check out!

Marian Region is closed for now. We are revamping at another location and decided to put the Marian here in MM due to guests not following rules. We'll e-mail all of you (and the guests that asked us to email them too) when NewMarian is up! =) We will also re-affie with all of our affiliates too!
So don't be sad! Marian will come back better than ever!
